Covering Scars?

Hi all, 

I know some of you are just Goddesses with makeup so I'm wondering if you could give me any advice, 

I LOVE the Deadly Dams capris and want them in both black and leopard but due to an unfortunate accident with my horse and a barbed wire fence four years ago my lower left calf has 3 lines of scars about four inches long,  they have faded a lot and are almost my skin color now but I actually needed stitches and never got them so they are pretty wide (about 3/4's of an inch at the widest),  so are pretty noticeable, 

does anyone know of any makeup tricks I could use to cover the scars so I don't stand out like a sore thumb in capris? Or should I go for the cigarette pants and just wear them with boots at all times?

I have pale skin about one shade from being as pale as you can get, silver tone, if you have any makeup/product recommendations I might be able to use?

thank you :),  I'll have to try the tattoo concealer, it sounds perfect actually, 

I have no problems wearing things to show scars ( wear short dresses all the time) but I gave my last pair of capris (which I loved) away because they end right where the scars start so it draws a LOT of attention to them and people were always asking me if I'd been attacked by a dog or something :/ 

also, as scars go, these are more silvery now (really old scars) , 

Im going to look into the options, thanks ladies!

I have a 6 in scar on my left knee. I had my knee replaced. Yep, with metal. So technically, I'm becoming a Terminator. ;)  Honey, my advice, Don't give a FUCK! I don't. If people want to look at my scar fine, that's cool. Whatever.  And if they want to ask, well then I tell them I was bitten by a shark, (I wasn't) And give them a story. They are a part of who you are, wear 'em with honor.

I agree, my scars are part of me, I just want to know because I want to look 'pretty' in them every now and then without having to talk about scars... 

P.S. tattoo concealer seems to be working great!!!
