I've tried 2 type of DD pants and both looked awful on me. I wouldnt recommend them for anyone with a waist measurement close to or over hip size. Mine are 42-38-42.

I've been wondering the same. I'm not a plus size, but I have really big hips and thighs and the cigarette pants don't seem like they would be very flattering.

Generally, pants that taper at the ankle never are unless you've got thin legs. :/

I've got a photo of me in the Laura Byrnes Black Label High Waisted Trousers in Blue. I'm wearing a size 2x my hips are a 49 waist 38 and they fit perfectly!

May I ask how tall you are?? I've had problems before with other clothes not fitting quite right cause I'm short and wear the 2x size...I'm just worried I'll get these and they'll be too long. I would also like to add that your picture is the reason I want to get these pants :)

This just helped my cause w/the pants - I want a look just like this but was iffy about purchasing pants w/out trying first! Your measurements are close to mine when it comes to waist and hips...thanks!

Don't think I would like the fit around my stomach.  Might wait til I loose a few more inches to purchase these.  I did see that PUG hired some new beautiful BBW models---maybe this means more styles that flatter our bodies?

I sure hope so! I find that PUG has the most flattering clothing for women of different shapes because they actually give you "old fashioned" things like... a fitted waist. e_e Sorry, but all these boxy shapeless shirts and dresses that are in right now do NOT flatter someone with hips and a butt. It just looks like a freaking mumu!
