i have a pink tiki dress i bought on sale way way back when.  i bought it as an XXL, but i was a size medium at the time.  i really wanted this dress, though, so i took it to a tailor to get it taken in.  it was really expensive, i do not EVER recommend this...just buy in your correct size, it will save you some heartache.  because, after all the fittings and payments, my beautiful pink tiki now fits like a size Large.  so, i still don't fit into it properly :)   i never responded to this thread because a lot of ladies are leery about buying dresses that have been altered.  but, i thought i would just throw this out there, and see if you are interested.  if you are curious about the dress, i can send you some pics.  just let me know, have a great day!

Thankyou so much for replying Joelle! I was lucky enough to actually get my hands on one YAY and it's on it's way to me in the mail BUT I know another girl desperate for the Tiki in pink and she was after the same size as me! I will tell her to get in touch with you about it :) I would only ever buy a dress 1 size too big for me because trying to take in a dress that much bigger would be so much work. How disappointing for you but I can understand why you went to that much effort - it really is a beautiful little dress. Originally I didn't even like it

i know! this dress is really really cute! even though it was a size too big, i wore it anyway and it looked great!  i think i may get the blue one when it is restocked in my size.  let your friend know to message me for details :)  thanks!

They only made it in the original halter style didn't they? I really like the blue with pink too but the pink with yellow is just soooo tropical and cute! Definitely get yourself the blue one :) They are bringing out a new colour combination of green with lilac flowers which is nice but in my opinion it's more jungle tropical than beach. Still cute but I like the pink and the blue best. I shared the conversation with her so hopefully she gets it.
