I don't have a white Doris top yet but you're better off using a light beige/nude color under instead of white so it isn't as obvious that you're wearing something under. White material stands out too much under white, use something closer to your skintone. =) Good luck! And I look forward to other people's answers because I want to get the Doris in white too!

just a skin colored bra really isn't going to cut it, you can seriously see everything! I'll upload a photo later but headed out now :)

I have the white Doris and I just wear a flesh colored bra. Like this one.

alright, forgiving the fact that I am wearing a black bra here (don't have time to change as I have people coming over and have to change out of white Doris for cooking purposes), I really am not looking for a nude bra suggestion as to be honest, it's just not going to do the trick, you can see all of my skin under the top and I'm looking for a way around that :( So far my best idea has been to pair it with one of these

but I really don't want that to show either! 

Also, I am wearing the top really tight, but the size up is WAY to big on my waist and I have to belt it so this is the lesser of two evils, I'm guessing it's a little less transparent if worn to fit a little better

It might be kind of a hassle, but maybe you could have a tailor add a nude colored lining to the inside of the shirt (the front and back, not the sleeves). It might be worth the money...I had that done to a yellow bettie page dress and it made a world of difference =)

the front is fine, but adding the panels in the back wouldn't be that much trouble for me! great idea! I actually dabble a bit with sewing too so I would just have to find a fabric with a good amount of stretch to fit in there :) , definitely considering it!

I wear cami's under all my Doris tops to provide a little more coverage, the lacy ones give it that little something extra. With the white one, you could use a white lacy cami or you could wear a more colorful one to give it that extra pop. For example, I pair my white Doris top with my floral Audrey skirt and layer the top over a a cami that matches one of the colors in the skirt (red for the red/green floral, purple for the purple/blue floral).

I think I'm maybe going to try lining it, the problem with the longline bra is that I think you can still see it under the shirt :/, since I want to wear this top as part of a suit at business meetings, I'm thinking the long line might not do the trick. But I LOVE those types of bras ! :)
