Fixing My Wallet

I have this darling little Marco Polo wallet in red snakeskin, I've had it for about three years now and it is starting to tear on the inside. While usually I'm more than ready to move on and buy something new after three years, I'm not quite ready to part ways with this one. 

I would like to fix it if at all possible but it looks like the leather tore on the inside and the rip is jagged so I'm afraid that it might tear back out again if i fix it. I don't really have any experience at all fixing wallets as I'm more of a clothing sewer myself so I would really love any advice. Do you sew it? Glue it?Some other method I haven't thought of?

Brandy, when I read the title for this topic I thought it was going to be about how to economize!!! Oh well. 

And sorry to say, I have no suggestions on how to fix your wallet. It is totally cool looking and I can see why you want to fix it.

well sort of about how to economize! Fix instead of buying new! ha :) Although seriously that could be a group all of its own :)

The only thing I can think of is to take it to a place which works with leather, like a shoe repair place and see if they can help you.

that's actually a good idea, and I'm really good friends with mine so he shouldn't mind looking at it lol.
