So what's the best/funniest compliment you've received while wearing PUG clothing?

Hello ladies!

So recently, I introduced my oldest step-sister to PUG's clothing for her Christmas present, and she's completely in love! She ordered the Je T'Adore dress in Olive, and when she put it on her husband's jaw dropped to the floor.

She told me that she never felt more attractive in her 49 years of living, than she did right at that moment...and that got me thinking about all the compliments and comments I've received from family, friends and strangers since I started wearing PUG clothing...and how it's impacted my life - which of course leads to the topic of discussion- what's the best compliment, comment or story you have pertaining to your PUG wardrobe?

For a holiday party I wore the Heidi Dress in cranberry and had everyone ask where I got it and if it was vintage. Then asked if I was a model. I laughed it off and said no, but it felt great.

A bunch of hipster girls gave me the "you are dressed way better than I am " stink-eye at a museum opening recently.  I was wearing my burgundy Heidi and had victory rolls.  I took it as a win.

Isn't that funny? It seems like whenever I got all out and do up my hair and wear something nice, that is when I get the most nasty looks! But if I go out in my sweatpants and slippers no one even notices!

I hate it especially when we go out to dinner and I see people like that, really? I hate when someone sits next to me wearing flip flops, I do not want to stare at your nasty feet while I am eating my food! That is one thing I love about PUG clothing, no matter what size you are their clothing makes you feel beautiful!

Why can't people take time and care with their appearance anymore? People think that it's strange that I spend time on my makeup and hair. I think it's strange that people leave the house in things I wouldn't even wear around the house. When did pajama pants become acceptable wear for being in public? I work in a library and someone came in wearing fuzzy dog slippers a few days ago. Really??

Well....I love my sweat pants don't get me wrong! I am a stay at home mom so sometimes I don't feel like wearing a dress all day but when I leave the house I try to make an effort. The only time I left the house in my pajamas was when I was sick and I went to Walgreens for medicine!

AMEN SISTER! I always feel so over dressed because everyone else seems so under-dressed. Where did the respect for your environment go? It drives me crazy how girls look at you like they are so annoyed that you look nice while they chose to wear sweats and a tank top... I've noticed that the men with them don't seem to mind that I'm dressed up, however...

LOL, I have noticed that too!

I just went out for some drinks with some friends and I wore the Heidi in Cherry Print dress and right when we sat down this lady came running over to me and said how gorgeous I looked and she loved my dress, she bought all of us a round of drinks! Later I found out she was the owner of the bar. And this was my FIRST time wearing a PUG dress! Plus I got an endless amount of compliments all night, its cool to look around and know no one in a place looks the way you do!

I dont like that I was compared to Katy Perry though :( yuk! I even told the lady, please don't compare me to her!

Summer 2012 I went to a huge outdoor car show wearing my black cherry Heidi and various people stopped me to tell me how good I looked and ask why I hadn't been in the pinup contest or if I had participated in it. I had no clue there was a pinup contest ;P

In December some co-workers and I went out to a piano bar and I wore my Greta dress in blue along with bumper bangs and a flower in my hair. I was in the restroom fixing my lipstick and two rather inebriated ladies staggered up to me and one said to the other, "oh my god it's like she walked out of a calendar! She's like, out of a different time." It was pretty funny. That same night a different lady approached me complimented me on my complete look and proceeded to touch my bangs (which had a hair rat rolled in them) and was startled to find something shaping them, (haha!)

This past Saturday I went to an indoor car show wearing my DD capri pants in red and DD psychobilly halter and received numerous warm and kind compliments. At one point I was actually begged by an insurance agent to get into a photo booth she had rented for her vendor space. Later after the show my mom and I went to Chili's for dinner and two women in their late teens/early 20s were sitting at the table across from us and tried to not let me catch them staring at me, haha.

I went to a WWII collectors' expo in my Military Secretary dress in tan and olive (my first time ever wearing PUG), my hair was in simple victory rolls, I hadn't even had time to properly curl the back. I had about 5 people stop and tell me I looked like one of the Andrews' Sisters. (One elderly gentleman even asked me if I was going to sing some of their songs.)

I LOVE the Andrews Sisters... What a wonderful compliment! :)
