What to do with all this lingerie....?

Ok, Ladies and Gents (your opinion would be valued too!):

I have a lot of vintage (mainly, although a couple of modern pieces) lingerie that I collected when I was dating my ex-boyfriend. As that ended badly, and those items hold a lot of memories that I'd like to leave in the past and not bring into any future relationships, I am baffled as to what to do with it?? It's not that I don't like the lingerie, but I have it tucked away, and when I pulled it out to do something with it, a flood of memories came back (even though it's been about 9 months since the breakup). I don't want to have to have those memories flood back when I finally enter a new relationship, and this definitely sounds like an opportunity to do some ebaying for new stuff (yay!), BUT IT REMAINS: WHAT TO DO WITH THE OTHER PIECES???

Any advice, anecdotes, anything appreciated on this one, ya'll. Thank you in advance!!!

I know this is a waste, especially if the piece is vintage, but maybe you can do a cleansing ritual with the ones that bring up the most memories and just burn them? Put's the memories squarely in the past where they belong and then you can Etsy/eBay the rest away?

Could you donate to a local shelter and write it off on your taxes? I am not sure if they take lingerie ??? Like a Goodwill or something?

Thank you ladies! I had been playing with the idea of ebaying them, but also thought about Shy Anne's cleansing idea as well. Instead of burning them, I was playing with the idea of  burying them in a memory box (I have them in storage; rubbermaid containers that have certain things that are memories - like a hope chest, but without it being a cedar chest, lol)... I'm hoping that something strikes me as an :Aha!: moment for the problem.

And thanks Jessica - it's nice to know (in a sad way, lol) that I'm not the only one who has this problem. And I so don't think that guys have this issue (most guys, anyway).
