Have you seen this. Large may not need alterations due to the way the dress works.

Hi, I think most people have no trouble sizing up or down in this one. My sister who is a size small/medium actually fit in my XS one! I think you want to go with the large if you have a bigger bust but otherwise I would recommend just going with the medium.

They honestly ought to be, I think your only issue is that because it has a liner in it, you're going to have to cut it down in two places, and then the ruches are going  to be difficult to put back, so it will cost you a lot to have it sized down (I would go with a ballpark of $60 from your average tailor). But, the dress is pretty stretchy so I think you'll be fine.
