Two other items I would add:

1. Handkerchiefs - I walk everywhere (in the heat included) and therefore, I sweat. Cotton hankies are a blessing, as I can blot off sweat without completely taking off my make-up. Cotton absorbs the sweat whereas poly does not. Linen also works. I have been buying vintage hankies on ebay, where you can find some really pretty and really inexpensive ones. It's difficult to find them in the stores now, so online is your best bet. I plan on buying some plain white ones (or making my own squares from cotton!) and embroidering them myself. You can find books on how to crochet the lacy edges and embroidery patterns on ebay as well (search: vintage handkerchiefs).

2. Really pretty, vintage (or semi-vintage) slips, tap panties, and camis. I have also found these on ebay... some of them are really beautiful and perfect for going under your dress or skirt and give you a little lift knowing what's underneath is as beautifully wrapped as what's on the outside. (search: vintage lingerie)

My corset would be #1, then seamed stockings and a garter belt, then clips for my pin curls, red lipstick and nail polish...a great bra...red hair color and of course a brush and comb!  That's 10, and I don't even have a dress, yikes!

Hmm... for me and my PUG style, I'd say:

-Red lipstick (like everyone else! but I wear just glosses and tints for everyday, the red lips are for evening only with me)

-Waist cinching vintage belt

- a nice Pencil skirt

- tons of swing skirts and a-line skirts

-Comfortable but sexy dresses (you know what I'm talking about, it's different for each of us, but it's the one we just throw on and it looks like we've put in a lot of effort, but it took us 10 minutes and we can easily dance the night away)

-Definitely some comfortable heels, I got a pair of gray patent heels from Rampage a few years ago and they are incredibly comfortable, but still a good four inches high. And the gray is a nice change from black, but still goes with everything

-Hair scarves/headbands

-Sweet little button down shirts for everyday (I especially love my white eyelet blouse for the summer it pairs great with skirts and jeans)

-Cardigans

-Turner Classic Movies, such a great source of inspiration and great entertainment!

a good wiggle dress for sure. The Natasha or the Erin.

Here's what I can not live without:

Black Label Trousers, black, red

Black Label shorts, all colors

Wonderful Wrap Top, white, bandanna

Joanie Top, black, navy, burgundy

Denim cigarette pants

Sean Top

I love all my dresses of course, but I spend most of my time walking around in a combination of the above items <3

Liquid Eyeliner

Mascara

Bobbie Pins

Semi-permanent hair dye (I don't use permanent because it is rough on the hair.)

Hot Rollers

Teasing brush

Quality bra

Sugar skull printed bandana

White polka dotted black cami

lip balm

cold cream

Foxy curls by Bed head

All the things I use and love if not daily, weekly!

1. Vintage Hairstyling book
2. Rago body briefer
3. Heidi dresses, seriously buy all of them they are great
4. The perfect pencil skirt in bengaline
5. Dee dee dress, I have the new and the original and I love them
6. Doris top
7. Doris skirt, I have three and I live in them
8. Ruby woo lipstick by MAC or Retrofusic from Lime Crime
9. Seamed stockings (love the dita range from secrets in lace)
10. VIP coat from Dita Von Teese Muse

If my drawer full of Nylons disappeared i would hide myself from the world!
My rings are a big part of everyday for me.
I wear about 4-5 a day. Some are truly old and others are just gaudy.
I can wear just about any top, but I need my pencil skirts.
Bought or made they are all my babies.

My leopard & cherries hand bag, my corsets,  pencial skirt , skinny black jeans, liquard eyeline, & cant forget the red lippy :), oh & my sunglasses lol

I just cannot live without my makeup kit along with my denims and casual shirts. As for the jewellery, you could check out the amber sceats earrings online that will give you an idea why I can't stay away from these as well.

1. Homemade cotton circle skirts in every print and color. These are my go-to every day outfit because I'm never worried about getting them dirty and I make them to fit my waist comfortably.

2. CURLS! My go-to style is to curl my hair, roll the sides back, and pin 'em in place. Makes for good make-shift victory rolls when I'm in a hurry!

3. Red lipstick.

4. A good bra to keep your shape looking flawless in form-sitting shirts ;).

5. The Jenny skirt in every color and pattern! These would be my number 1's if I could afford them all.

6. High-waisted swimwear and ruched one pieces.

7. Stud earrings- diamond, pearl, floral, etc.

8. Belts in every color.

9. Satin robes for those early mornings and late evenings...

10. My handsome husband. ;) (Not necessary for everyone... but my husband is an essential part of what makes me feel beautiful!)

1) Your best underwear for the outfit. Whether a corset if you're going for the waist training look/result, a bullet bra for sweaters or a push up bra or badded bra for a cleavage heavy dress and a pair of high wasited knickers along with a garter/suspender to hold up your...

2) Back seemed stockings. Nothing finishes any outfit showing off a little leg like a pair of old fashioned back seemed stockings.

3) Fantastic pinup shoes. A great pair of flats if you intend to do a lot of walking or a kick ass pair of heels, anything from 2" to 4" if you're just going to be posing and not for very long.

4) The Perfect Hair Accessory. Be it a scarf for a Rosie the Riveter style look or... another kind of scarf for a rockailly style OR even a classic hair pin, be it a flower or a masquerade mask (courtesy of Wanting Vixen of course :) ).

5) That Dress, You Know the One. This is the dress that makes you so happy to be a woman, whether it hugs your hips like wiggle or flares out like a Heidi this is the dress that makes you proud of your body and oh so happy to seen. Luckily since the pinup genre can encompass years from the late 1930's to the mid 1960's there's actually a lot of leeway in what you can call a pinup dress if you really want to take up the look.

6) Red Lipstick. No explanation needed, it's red lipstick and you'll know when you find the shade made for this look you're sporting.

7) Eye Shadow & Liner. See above explanation for red lipstick and if there was ever a time when the cat eye wasn't associated with the pinup genre then I don't want to know about it ;)

8) Bobby pins. All the best laid hair plans of mice and pinups will start to go wrong eventually, especially if you've been Lindy Hopping for four hours and it's past 3am. A bobby pin or two are all that it takes to keep your hair from completely falling apart.

9) A Great Handbag. This is a simple handbag that stands out from what you would day to day. It's stylish and moderately practical.

10) Confidence, the hardest thing on this list to acquire. Some women are seemingly born with it, others have to work entire lives through personal crisis and trauma's to have it. To everyone who's achieved it though, it's the finishing touch that makes every pinup feel like a million dollars on the inside.

Those are my top ten items! I left them a little vague only because I have a favourite of each kind of item on the list, with the exception of confidence which fits all occasions :)

For this picture here which I use for my avatar here are the top ten items more specifically:

1) La Senza's Hello Sugar Bra in Black, 36 C plus the Maitresse high waisted knickers and garter belt from What Katie Did.
2) The retro back seemed stockings also from What Katie Did.
3) A cute pair of black 2" heels from Payless.
4) A couple of red hair flowers and a white ribbon that picked up from Ardene.
5) The Heidi Dress in Royal Blue from Pinup Girl Clothing.
6) Red lipstick from Shoppers Drug Mart.
7) Black eye liner and a light brown eye shadow also from Shoppers Drug Mart.
8) Bobby pins from Shoppers too.
9) My Lux De Ville vintage hand bag in red.
10) The confidence I found in part because of you guys :)

I hope that helps :)
