I am just moving to the Provo area of Utah, how did you like living there? Do you like the UK so far? My husband would love to live there one day!
Hi Jennifer,
I've never actually lived in Provo but I've got friends there and have been to ABGs (the local subcultural bar) a time or two. Provo can be a bit weird because of the high concentration of Mormons but it's not a bad place. You might find yourself getting stared at a little more often than you're used to but if you just smile and wave they'll usually look away and mind their business. (Personally, I would rather be stared at than not noticed at all!) Overall, Utah is a beautiful state with lots to do if you're the outdoorsy adventurous type but it's got some odd laws and people due to religious influences. You'll find your place and like-minded folks with time. add me on facebook (rosietheripper@hotmail.com) and I'll introduce you to a couple of friends who live in the area and can let you know when something fun is going on.:)
London has been good to me so far! It was quite difficult to get the visa but once that was over and done with, the rest has been smooth sailing. I'm quite happy here.
